  Covering 30km, this district can hold up to 16 colleges and 240 thousand students. This area of Jiangning serves two functions: a College Town and a Resource Sharing Center. So far 10 colleges and universities have already moved into the area. These institutions offer a large variety of courses and majors such as: Engineering, Computer Science, Medicine, Economics, International Business, Education, Religion and Fine Arts. Furthermore the Jiangning international academic exchange center is very attractive for foreign investors bringing their expatriated families.The Resource Sharing Center provides a platform for sharing resources and absorbing others advantages, one good example of this is the planned teacher exchange program with other institutions. The educational resources will also share the sports center. This is a sub-court that was built for the 2005 10th National Games. Covering an area of 310 thousand square meters, this place has: a main sports ground for 30,000 people, a Gymnasium for 5,500 people, a swimming pool for 1,500 people and a multi-purpose training building. The projected budget invested into this project is around 800 million RMB. In addition to the sports complex new facilities in College Town area are being developed, facilities such as: hotels, supermarkets, cultural centers, hospitals, libraries, galleries and movie theaters.
