  Human Resource Information for Employers in the Science Park

1. Labor employment:
a. No one under the age of 16 is allowed to work in the Science Park.
b. Workers engaging in work that is poisonous, dangerous or heavy physical labor must be 18 or over.

2. Labor contract
a. A labor contract should be establish between the employer and the employee.
b. Both parties need to fulfill their contractual obligations at all times.
c. Labor disputes between employer's and workers over contract or labor management rules, both parties may apply for meditation, arbitration and
legal proceedings according to the law. They may seek for settlement by consultation.

3. Wages
a. Wages paid shall not be lower than the local standard on minimum wage determine by the government
b. The current standard for a monthly salary is 620.00 RMB, while average minimum hourly wage is 5.2 RMB.

4. Labor protection
a. Laborers shall work for no more than 40 hours a week.
b. Workers most be allowed 1 day off a week.
c. Workers that are arranging to work on days of rest shall be paid with overtime wages.
